Test Driving in Style with Lexus Drive On Demand
This past weekend I had the opportunity to try out a whole new way to test drive a vehicle - in style and at my convenience. Thanks to the new Lexus Drive On Demand service. This service is currently offered in the Greater Seattle area and Las Vegas. Lexus personally delivers a test drive and a test drive specialist to you. It makes visiting a dealership obsolete! As someone who has a busy work and personal schedule, avoiding the hassle and trek to a dealership is a win/win.
Growing up, my dad drove and swore by Lexus. Their vehicles look and feel luxurious and are extremely reliable. I’ve always been a fan of the Lexus brand and felt extremely comfortable trying out this new service since my family is loyal to the brand. Not to mention, the service is so easy to use!
How to participate in Lexus Drive On Demand:
-First, you select the Lexus that you want to try out.
-Then you schedule where and when you’d like the car delivered.
-And lastly, you enjoy your test drive. Your drive is accompanied with a Lexus Drive specialist that provides you with all the information about the vehicle and answers all of your questions during the drive.
You can test out a variety of vehicles: SUVs, Sedans, Hybrids and Coupes.
I selected the NX 300 h, a luxury cross-over — I am hopeful that my car next car will be a compact or mid-size SUV. I currently drive a Mazda 3 and love it, but one day I’ll want more room and to ride a little higher on the road. The NX 300 h gets 33 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway — given it’s a hybrid, it’s not a gas guzzler like other SUVs which is a huge plus.
Some other highlights of the vehicle?
-It has a sleek interior and exterior. I specifically loved the red stitching detail and interior.
-The ride was smooth! Seattle definitely has its share of run-down roads and you could barely notice them when driving in this car.
-Eco-friendly!
-Great visibility. This car had limited blind spots, which made the test drive less stressful.
Tristan and I loved having the opportunity to try out this service due to its convenience. We scheduled our test drive on Friday after work and spent an hour roaming around Magnolia with our driving specialist. He was extremely informative when it came to any questions we had about the NX 300 h and about the service itself. It is a customer-friendly way to test drive a vehicle that peeks your curiosity without the hassle of a stop at the dealership.
