Monday beauty refresh with Meant
After taking a brief blogging hiatus to focus on landing my full-time career as an Art Director at Amazon (I was a contracted Art Director before!), I'm happy to announce that I'm back on track with exciting new blog content to share and a new job! Trying to strike a balance during interview prep, blogging, focusing on my creative outlets and maintaining the relationships in my personal life was incredibly taxing the past month. I started to notice my health, beauty routine and overall energy was lacking. This week, I'm focused on a full refresh! What better way to start off a Monday, right?
An important part of my Monday beauty refresh includes two new products from Meant. A brand I'm excited to introduce here on the blog. Meant is a brand that prides itself on simplicity to get the job done. After weeks of stress, I need all the simplicity a girl can get! Meant body products are meant to nourish your skin and simplify your overall beauty routine. All products are made with organic ingredients - especially great for those of us with sensitive skin.
I've been trying out The Wonder Polish and The Absolute Balm the last two weeks and I'm here to give a full report on my results. Here it goes!

Meant's Absolute Balm is a form of hydrating oil serum that can be used on your face, body and hair. A lot of my oil serums are for face or body only, so having a serum I have been able to use in my hair is also a huge plus! I love multi-functional products.
This balm is meant to be used during your shower - I have been using this balm every day. I recently got an air brush tan (a must during the fall months) and I've found using this balm has kept my skin moisturized and has helped extend the life of my tan. This balm consists of Shea Nilotica (a natural form of anti-inflammatory sunscreen used to regenerate and nourish skin all while protecting your skin from the sun), Beeswax (perfect for protecting your skin and helps to reduce inflammation), Coconut Oil (used to regenerate and protect skin all while softening and soothing skin - I have found it works wonders on dry patches of skin or on razor burn!), Pomegranate (an antioxidant that nourishes and is an anti-aging ingredient). This balm has an aroma of citrus, I'd have to say citrus is my all-time favorite scent for beauty products, it's so refreshing and a great way to help wake me up in the morning.
My overall consensus? Give this balm a whirl! It's a great product to integrate into your shower routine and is especially one worth trying out this fall when your skin is typically feeling more dry.

The name alone should intrigue you! Meant's Wonder Polish is another product worth integrating into your beauty/shower routine - I happen to use this polish 2-3 times a week and it's become one of my favorite skincare remedies. The Wonder Polish is a multi-purpose toning body scrub that requires little time to use and gives you plenty of results. The polish consists of avocado, argan and monoi oils, ground coffee (helps eliminate scarring and cellulite by toning and firming) and fine-grain sugar crystals. The polish gives off a ground coffee scent with a few notes of citrus - exfoliation never felt or smelled so good.
The Wonder Polish is a two-in-one moisturizing scrub which you can use with your hands or a loofah for all over coverage. It deep cleans your pores and leaves you with smooth skin that feels like you just covered your body in lotion!
My overall consensus? This polish has replaced my go-to sugar scrub. I have found the exfoliation of this scrub is more efficient and I love having a polish that leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized. If you're looking for a 'treat yourself' product, this one is for you!
