Happy Valentine's Day, loves! Whether you're spending your day with your Valentine, Galentine or flyin' solo (all are wonderful options) it's the perfect day to embrace your favorite, feminine wardrobe that you love.
This year, Tristan and I will be celebrating our third Valentine's Day together and will be keeping things fairly low-key, which is honestly our favorite way to celebrate this cheesy holiday. Pizza, wine, fro-yo and a Netflix movie will likely be on our agenda and I'm hoping this V-Day routine will become a tradition over the years!
I would have to say aside from spending an evening with the guy I love and sending cheesy Valentine's Day puns to my Galentine's, I love dressing for the day! Every year I like to plan an outfit that makes me feel feminine and fierce (while also comfortable because that is key). Today, I'm sharing with you a Valentine's Day outfit that embraces just about every shade of pink you can imagine!
With the help of Ollie + Co. I'm rocking the Parkrose Knit balloon sleeve blush pink sweater. This sweater has a classic boat neck fit with trendy puffy sleeves that gather at the wrists. I love this trend! I could own this sweater in just about every color since it's so comfortable and stylish. It's also a mix of wool and acrylic which will keep you warm this winter.
Since I typically opt for casual Valentine's Day activities, jeans are often my answer. This pair of distressed medium wash denim by JAG Jeans are one of my favorites to wear. They look great cuffed and have a comfortable straight-leg fit.
Did I mention this outfit embraces loads of pink? Even down to the accessories.Instead of rocking the classic pair of stiletto heels on Valentine's Day, I like to do things a little differently. A stylish pair of flats, wedges or booties tend to do the trick. This outfit called for embellished flats and I think these might be my favorite part of the outfit! I received these pink, velvet embroidered flats (Jeffrey Campbell brand) for Christmas and I've been wearing them on the warm(er) winter days here in Seattle. But for Valentine's Day, these shoes are a must no matter the weather! They are comfortable in fit and the mauve combined with the beaded and lace embroidered detailing is a show-stopper. I get compliments every single time I wear them!
The pink color palette also comes through my vibrant, Kate Spade pink crossbody bag. This is one of her classic crossbody styles that fits my necessities in a stylish and snug way. The gold chain detailing is one of my favorite parts of this crossbody, I love a handbag that shows off some metallic.
This year, comfort and style are my keys to success for celebrating another Valentine's Day with the guy I love most! And this outfit happens to embrace just that. Regardless of how you choose to spend your Valentine's Day this year, I wish you a love-filled day with all the people and things you love the very most.
