Those closest to me know that I'm a California girl at heart. I might be born and raised here in the Pacific Northwest but I'm constantly dreaming of the sunshine, ocean, palm trees and the desert -- pretty much all that California has to offer. It's by far one of my favorite places in the world and one day (sooner than later) I hope to call it my home. My wardrobe also expresses my love for California as I've been incorporating more color and print into it this last year. My latest addition, the Isabella Cold Shoulder Romper courtesy of Tobi is no exception. A romper covered in palm print? I mean, who can say no to this fabulous summer staple! Not this girl.

This romper is perfect to wear on sunny days paired with sandals when you're out and about but it can also be dressed up with a pair of heels or wedges if you so choose. My palm romper fits great and is made out of a breezy polyester fabric that is great for summer! I think my favorite part about this romper (aside from the palm prints, duh) is the ruffled accent in the front as well as the front tie. These details make this romper even more flirty, feminine and fun to wear! *This romper is currently sold out online, but keep your eye out for when it's back in stock!

I decided to try something a little different with this romper by wearing an off the shoulder blouse from Maude layered underneath my romper. I love when I can make layers work in an outfit, living in Seattle with its unpredictable weather constantly has me thinking of ways to get creative with layers. I love how adding this blouse underneath creates some drama and also keeps the look feminine. I paired this outfit with my white ankle strap sandals from Nordstrom. They keep the look more on the casual side and are so comfortable to wear!

I decided to keep accessories to a minimum with this look by wearing my new favorite dainty, gold cacti necklace from Katie Dean Jewelry -- another California-inspired wardrobe piece! A dainty gold bangle and ring are the perfect finishing touches with this look to keep the focus on the print.

Needless to say, I'm ready for summer weather and a long overdue trip to California where I can play camouflage with the palm trees in this beloved romper of mine!
