Happy Monday! We're finally off to a sunny start to kick off our week and I'm not complaining! Sunshine has made me dream about days playing in the water, countless hours spent on the patio and days just soaking up the sunshine! All of this summer dreaming has me thinking about my must-have wardrobe items for the season. One item I just can't seem to live without for summer is this nautical-inspired Wes Striped Tee from Brickyard Buffalo. Summer stripes are just going to be my thing for the next few months I've decided! Casual yet stylish, one can never go wrong with a prominent horizontal stripe. Also, the cuffed sleeves make this tee even more stylish when worn! Laid back when paired with jeans or dressed up with tucked into a skirt -- it's the perfect top for sunny days here in Seattle!
Accessorizing this top is endless but one of my favorite accessories to date would have to be the choker. This trend just isn't going away anytime soon. In fact, it is one of the best jewelry pieces to rock all summer long! My Laretta Suede Choker also from Brickyard Buffalo (currently 50% off, people!) is the perfect way to compliment this summer outfit.
My Fitcode PAIGE jeans are my denim of choice for this look because they are the perfect wash and fit - straight leg and the right length for a solid cuff. These are my go-to jeans for work days and week days because they go with everything and lack distress like so many of my jeans have.
The shoes in this look are one of my favorite H&M findings to date from winter! I scored these slip on flats on sale and have so much fun styling them into looks when I can. They make quite a statement when worn and are super comfortable!
Summer stripes lead this outfit full force as well as the rest of my wardrobe as I'm becoming more inspired to incorporate pattern, color and texture into my summer attire this summer! Stay tuned for more stripe inspiration on the blog soon!
