Your man's must-have: The JORD Wood Watch

I'll be the first to admit the first thing I noticed about my boyfriend Tristan on our first date aside from how handsome he is was his sense of style and in particular, that he wore a watch. A watch is often an overlooked accessory in a person's wardrobe, but it's such a fun item to style and wear! Having the opportunity to collaborate with JORD Wood Watches was particularly special to me because I was able to style one of their amazing wood watches on Tristan (big S/O to my guy for being such a great participant in this styled shoot!)

Tristan selected the Frankie Koa & Ash wood watch due to its darker finish and minimalistic appearance that would go with a lot of the items of clothing he wears on a regular basis. What is so unique about JORD Wood Watches is the thought that goes into the design and materials used to create these watches! The Frankie watch is made from natural koa wood (native to Hawaii) and is hand finished and pretreated with tung oils. I love that this brand is all about featuring all natural wood products. Not to mention, the branding is also incredible -- we received the watch in a branded wooden box which has been excellent for storing the watch.

The other unique part of this Frankie Koa & Ash watch was how light it is! Compared to Tristan's other watch he wore regularly, this watch is so lightweight and easy to wear.

While Tristan wears this watch often with a variety of everyday looks, my favorite outfit he's paired with this watch is this go-to date night look featuring his ASOS bomber in navy paired with a striped ASOS shirt, I love the way it compliments his jacket. For pants, his lighter khaki colored pants keep things more casual and a pair of lace up shoes with the blue and brown tones really accent his overall look as well as the wood watch he is wearing. What I love most about this outfit is the mixture of pattern and the overall navy and wood-inspired color palette. It's masculine and stylish but in a casual, everyday look sort of way.
