Rompin'

Life in a romper is an amazing thing. You don't have to worry about windy days like when you're in a dress or if the top you're wearing matches your shorts in the summer time. It's the stylish and comfortable solution on summer days.

When I locked eyes with the ASTR leopard print romper from Nordstrom, I couldn't resist. I love the lightweight chiffon fabric which makes wearing it bearable on hot days. I honestly feel like I'm wearing a pair of pajamas in public and it's the best feeling in the world. I also love the flowy ruffled detailing on the bottoms which makes the style more feminine. The neutral color and pattern is what sold me with this romper, though -- it goes with everything!

Pairing shoes with this romper is easy because truthfully, you can get away with wearing almost anything. I styled my romper with my black Steve Madden tassel block heels. They are my go-to sandals this season. This outfit would look great with a heel if you wanted to dress it up or a more relaxed sandal, for days where you're going to be out and about. With any outfit, it's nice to have these sort of options.

When it came to accessorizing, I wanted to glam up my look with some girly statement pieces. I decided to wear my pink ribbon statement necklace I was gifted a couple years back on my birthday -- I love the gold detailing. To bring out the gold in my necklace and well, it's summer, so a girl's gotta have her shades...I'm wearing my rose gold metallic Brass Plum oversized sunnies.
