PALM SPRINGS: Moorten Botanical Garden
It's time to share yet another amazing location from our See You in the Desert creative photoshoot in April. This shoot was a defining creative project for me because it allowed me to pursue my love for styling and creative directing all while working with such a talented team! Moorten Botanical Garden was a place that looked out of a dream. I'd seen it photographed before for weddings and styled bridal shoots but not in a stylistic, editorial way. The space itself is a winding loop amongst greenery, plants, desert shrubs and abstract props. Not to mention, the beautiful green house that sits nestled inside the garden with the most unique looking cacti, succulents and vines. Needless to say, besides having beautiful models, the backdrop itself was also a stunner.
We had fun experimenting with shooting through the plants, mixing models together and apart and encouraging them to pose more freely. The funky vibe we achieved from shooting within this location made these photos some of my favorites from our entire photoshoot.
