Golden Hour: Final Look
My final look from my Golden Hour collaboration with Jenna Bechtholt is here and the perfect look for these warmer September days those of us in Seattle are still experiencing. When it's too warm for a bunch of layers, basics are the key to success but that's not to say you can't add a little pizzazz to your outfit.
In this final look I am sporting my favorite denim joggers again courtesy of Target paired with a longer flowy basic t-shirt from Nordstrom. One can never have too many of these types of t-shirts. What's odd is they are surprisingly hard to come by. Often times I find t-shirts that aren't long enough to cover the bum or are so long that they might as well be a dress. The key to success is finding one that can be worn tucked in, layered or stand alone. To add a little bit of high/low contrast to my look I did a frontal tuck of my tee into my joggers. For accessorizing, I let my shoes do the talking in this look. My new favorite Halogen flats in ruby are show-stoppers not to mention, they feel like slippers. I am partial to my monochromatic shoes: black, grey, brown, nude...but I couldn't resist adding some color to my wardrobe with these sassy studded flats. These shoes can be paired with jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts or leggings -- they are extremely flexible and when wearing them there is no need to over-accessorize.
Fall is about integrating basics and experimenting with layers, but when the days are still warmer and layers aren't suitable, you can never go wrong with everyday basics. As you can see, this outfit requires little to no effort but still resembles a stylish pre-autumn look.
