Feminine & Denim: Dainty Delicates
My third look "Dainty Delicates" of my FEMININE & DENIM photo and style collaboration series with KNDM Co. is coming in hot as I'm showing off one of my favorite looks of the season. This outfit is one of my favorite ways to blend minimalism with hints of color and pattern during the spring. What I love so much about this look is how my feminine flowing tank top, heels and statement necklace compliment the bold pattern of my striped chiffon shorts. To add a layering element to the look I paired my dainty blacks and whites with a pop of denim to make the look more relaxed.
This outfit is a perfect day look and is extremely comfortable! You can't go wrong with outfits consisting of easy, breezy fabrics. This tank top from Nordstrom is my favorite one to wear in the spring and summer for its layered appearance and light chiffon fabric. It goes with everything! Not to mention, when I'm tanner I also love how it compliments my summer skin! I matched my flowing tank with my new pair of striped chiffon shorts courtesy of Forever21 - the fit is short but loose which I love and the color being black/white goes with anything all while adding a fun pop of pattern with the stripes! My peep-toe Steve Madden black wedge heels add some sass and height to my outfit all while staying rather neutral. I have to say, these shoes are the most comfortable wedge heels I own and black wedges go with everything! For layering purposes, I threw on my GAP denim jacket that's a higher cropped style so it requires something with a little flow and length underneath (hence my tank top). Denim jackets are a key essential for spring as they are so versatile all while classic in style. I love medium-washed denim by personal preference, but any wash will do! To top off my look I added my pastel statement necklace from Nordstrom to tie in the whites and blues of my outfit as well as adding some additional feminine hues.
